30 Years of Lord of the Dance

Tonight celebrates 30 years of Lord of the Dance!

I distinctly remember watching in amazement and being in absolute awe of the original cast the very first time the show came to Glasgow in 1996. I was desperate to be a part of it (and dreamt of being the girl in the red dress).

I got to join in 1997 as soon as I finished my exams and am so fortunate to have toured the world for many, many years with this phenomenal show and the amazing people in it.

I am beyond blessed that I got to dance in some of the most wonderful places, on amazing stages and got to preform all 3 female lead roles. I celebrated my 18th birthday in Wembley arena, just one of the many wonderful memories I cherish.

I am grateful for every opportunity the show afforded me and grateful for the original cast who paved the way and inspired so many. It most certainly is the world’s greatest dance show!
